The Office of the President has directed all heads of government institutions to submit detailed records of new employees added to their payrolls since December 7, 2024.
“I am writing to request your assistance in providing information on staff who have been added to your Institution’s Payroll since Saturday 7th December 2024”.
This directive, signed by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, is part of the John Mahama administration’s broader efforts to streamline government operations and ensure proper allocation of public funds.
“This information is critical to maintaining transparency and accountability in our payro!
management processes”.
The state Institutions are expected to provide the following details for each new staff member:
• Full Name
• Designation/Job Title
• Employee Identification Number (if applicable)
• Date of Appointment
• Date Added to Payroll
The deadline for submitting this information is January 31, 2025. This exercise aims to maintain transparency and accountability in payroll management processes, ensuring that government funds are used effectively.
