A fourteen(14) year old Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidate, Osei Jennifer Nyamah, has passed away shortly after writing her first paper.
The student, who attended Kwahu Praso Preparatory School in the Kwahu West Municipality, reportedly complained of persistent headaches prior to the exams.
Her father, Mr. Kwaku Osei, told Agoo FM News that the headaches had become a regular concern, prompting her mother to give her paracetamol before the exams began.
After completing her first paper, Jennifer began to feel weak and was taken to the Kwahu Praso Clinic for medical attention.
As her condition deteriorated later in the evening, she was transferred to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw, where she sadly passed away.
