The Campaign Manager for New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Ing. Kwabena Adjei Agyapong, Mr Ofosu Asamoah, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
In a brief public statement issued on November 30, 2025, Mr. Asamoah announced that he had stepped down from both roles—Campaign Manager and member of the campaign’s Advisory Board.
“Know ye all men that I, Hon. Ofosu Asamoah, have this 30th day of November 2025 resigned from my position as Campaign Manager and Member of the Campaign Advisory Board. I further cease to be a member of the team,” his message read.

The statement, shared on his official WhatsApp status, did not provide any explanation for his resignation. Campaign officials have also remained silent on the matter, leaving the reasons behind his departure unclear.
Mr. Asamoah is a known figure within the party and his exit comes at a crucial period as aspirants intensify preparations for the NPP’s upcoming internal contests.
Attempts to reach representatives of Ing. Kwabena Agyapong’s campaign team for comment were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
Further updates are expected as the situation develops.
