The National Association of Traditional Priests and Priestess are bewildered on the state of neglecting them in terms of decision making and called on Politicians to factor them.
The association is peeved and blamed the exemption of traditional teachings from our educational system as means of preventing them from participating in any national and other important functions with the notion that traditional worshipping is evil doing which is not the case.
“Traditional worshipping imposes fears in people which prevent them from certain crimes like stealing, abortion, cursing, corruption, bullying” so we needs to be considered in decision making. Okomfiur Yaw, said.
The Ashanti Regional chairman of the Association, OKomfour Yaw, Red and White powers during a Press conference at Kona a suburb of Asonomaso Nkwanta in Ashanti Region has refuted such perception, saying government needs to involve traditional and priest teachings in Ghana’s educational institutions to enable them revamp their work.
He added most crimes and atrocities are committed by Christians, yet they go around to criticize innocent traditionalists.
