Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahama Bawumia has been enstooled as a Chief in Nsawam traditional area.
The Vice President was given a stool name Nana Ntentankesehene to wit ‘Chief of the Internet/Web’ by the Chief of Nsawam Nana Kwamena Ansah I.
The enstoolment was done in the Chief’s Palace when the vice President paid a curtesy call on Nana Kwamena Ansah I, as part of his campaign tour activities in the Eastern region ahead of December 7th 2024 Presidential and parliamentry elections.
The NPP’s flagbearer commended Nana Kwamena Ansah I, for appreciating his efforts in digitalizing the country to check corruption and promoting easy way to conduct business with state institution to promote business and growth of the country’s economy.
Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia was accompany by the Majority Chief Whip of parliament who double as the member of Parliament for the Ansawam Adoagyiri Constituency a known sympathizer of the Vice President Frank Annor Dompreh.
