A fifteen years old girl and author, Miss Samuella Osae has revealed that her novels are inspired by through witnessed incidents.

Speaking with Miss Osae, she says, the first novel, titled, “A Stranger’s toffees “ written at the age of eight was generated through the witness of the kidnap of her younger sister.

“I wrote my first book when I was in class four(4) and I was inspired by a near kidnapping incident “ Miss Samuella stated

According to her, the incident took place at her parent’s workplace when they were absent from work. Miss Osae stressed that, a stranger encountered with her little sister outside the place of work when she(Miss Osae) was in the building arranging stuff.

She continued to say that, a strange sensation of kidnapping was felt when she saw the stranger giving toffee to her younger sister because such things has been heard of before but it was to her surprise it is still in existence.

”…already my dad has told me of kidnapping where strangers use gifts to lure children to kidnap them …….because in class one I wanted to write a book, I used that experience to write a book”.

”I thought kidnapping was not real and far away but when I witnessed that event, I realized it could happen to anyone so I wanted children to be aware of it and be alert”Samuella said.

Moving forward to Samuella’s second novel, titled, “Leticia the Chaste Girl”, it was also inspired through a nonfictional story of peer pressure from her peers and a known intelligent lady who could not stay chaste by getting pregnant before the end  of her sponsored education.

“I was surprised when I saw my mates in romantic relationships at that stage and the brilliant lady getting pregnant which prevented her from completing school that resulted her in moving back to the village then I realized I can use that experience to write my second book “ Miss Osae explained.

Samuella added that her second novel would be launch on 23rd August 2024 at Marters of Uganda RC JHS at exactly 9’O’clock am.

Additionally, mother of the stated author, Mrs. Rebecca Osae says her daughter was always seen writing and reading  during her leisure hours in her childhood days till date.

“my daughter started writing when she was seven months old so her father named her professor 1 at the age of one year. Since she started schooling, you will never find my daughter without a book writing “ Mrs. Osae stated

The headmaster of Marters of Uganda RC JHS, Mr. Anthony Akansisi also entreated with the public to help support this young talented lady to improve herself and achieve the her goals.

”I was marveled when I saw such a young girl who has written a book so I will entreat schools, churches, everyone to patronize the book then read to learn something from it ” Mr. Akansisi pleaded.
