Minister for the Interior and Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to protecting Ghana from emerging terrorist threats within the sub-region.
Addressing the National Counter-Terrorism Stakeholders Meeting in Accra, the Minister emphasized the need for sustained vigilance and proactive measures to maintain national security.
He noted that the government remains focused on strengthening intelligence-gathering systems, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and improving border security to safeguard citizens.

Mr. Mohammed-Mubarak stressed the importance of timely information sharing and the development of reliable databases as critical tools in modern security operations.
He further urged stakeholders to set aside institutional rivalries and collaborate effectively in the national interest.
He assured that the government would not relent in its efforts, adding that Ghana remains committed to sustaining its reputation as a beacon of peace and stability in the sub-region.
