The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has permanently banned five former students from entering its campus after accusing them of engaging in activities that threaten the safety of members of the university community.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar on March 13, 2026, the university said the affected individuals had been dismissed from the institution in 2025 but had continued to appear on campus and disrupt normal academic and administrative activities.
The students named in the directive are Bernard Boadi, Francis Tutu Atuahene, John Kelvin Kane, Roland Botwe Nsiah and Felix Acquah.

According to KNUST management, the individuals have been prohibited from entering or remaining on the university’s campus in Kumasi.
“The University therefore wishes to inform the public, particularly members of the University community, that these persons are prohibited from entering or remaining on the KNUST campus,” the statement said.

The university explained that the decision was taken to safeguard the safety, discipline and orderly conduct of activities within the institution.
Management also cautioned the individuals to comply with the directive, warning that any attempt to enter the campus would attract legal action.

The statement was issued by the Deputy Registrar of the University Relations Office, Daniel Norris Bekoe, on behalf of the Registrar.
KNUST said it remains committed to enforcing its regulations and maintaining a safe and conducive environment for teaching, learning, research and community engagement.
