Key among the proposed projects is the construction of modern transport terminals at Oforikrom and Asafo, intended to streamline urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion.
In addition, a new dual carriage road is planned from Santaase to Asokwa to further enhance transportation efficiency.
Mayor Boadi also revealed plans for an ultramodern conference center to position Kumasi as a hub for business and international events.
Another major initiative, dubbed “Kumasi Business Connect,” will be launched in collaboration with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The program aims to connect local businesses with investors and foster economic growth in the city.
The GCGL delegation expressed strong support for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly’s (KMA) development agenda and pledged to partner with the city in promoting its transformation efforts.
These initiatives reflect the Mayor’s commitment to revitalizing Kumasi’s economic landscape and enhancing its appeal as a vibrant center for commerce and investment.
