LaLiga’s Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly convened today, where the consolidated annual accounts for the 2024/25 season and the proposed income and expenditure budget for 2025/26 were presented to the 42 member clubs.
Both documents were put to a vote as stipulated by LaLiga’s Corporate Bylaws and secured broad approval from the clubs.
The proposed budget for the upcoming 2025/26 season earned a strong endorsement, receiving 85.7% of the weighted vote, equivalent to 38.6 votes in favor.
Abstentions totaled 4.2 votes, while 2.2 votes were cast against the proposal.
Similarly, the expenditure budget garnered even greater approval, with 39.6 votes in favor, representing 88% support; abstentions and opposing votes both accounted for 2.2 votes.
This decisive backing highlights a unified consensus among the clubs regarding LaLiga’s financial strategy, underscoring the collective project’s robust economic foundation.
LaLiga President Javier Tebas emphasized the significance of this support, stating, “The overwhelming backing from the clubs highlights the strength of our model and their trust in LaLiga’s financial management. We remain committed to working responsibly with a long-term vision to ensure a solid and sustainable future.”

To uphold transparency and integrity, the vote was conducted via LaLiga’s secure electronic secret ballot system, preserving each club’s autonomy and freedom of choice throughout the decision-making process.
