In a strategic move to bolster the campaign of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu, the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has donated six brand new pickup trucks and a mobile information van to the party.
This substantial contribution is intended to enhance the party’s operations in the Central Region ahead of the December 7th General Elections. Professor Asiedu emphasized that having adequate resources is crucial for achieving electoral success and reiterated his unwavering support for the party’s campaign.
In his remarks, Professor Asiedu highlighted his ambitious “Agenda 20 Seats” initiative, which aims to secure 20 parliamentary seats for the NDC in the Central Region. He expressed confidence that the donated vehicles would play a pivotal role in achieving this objective by enabling effective outreach and campaign efforts.
Additionally, Professor Asiedu urged NDC executives and supporters to intensify their efforts by conducting a vigorous house-to-house campaign. He stressed the importance of grassroots engagement, encouraging party members to connect with voters, listen to their concerns, and promote the NDC’s vision for a better Ghana.
“Let us reach out to the people, address their concerns, and share our vision for the future of Ghana,” Professor Asiedu stated. “With dedication and hard work, we can secure victory and bring prosperity to our nation.”
John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s Presidential Candidate, expressed his deep gratitude to Professor Asiedu for his generous donation during an interview with Ghone News’ Yaw Boagyan. Mahama praised the Central Regional Chairman’s leadership and commitment to the party, acknowledging the critical role this support would play in advancing the campaign’s efforts.
The donated vehicles are expected to significantly improve the party’s outreach capabilities, enhance communication efforts, and mobilize supporters across the region. This gesture reflects the party’s dedication to working collaboratively towards electoral success.
Professor Asiedu’s “Agenda 20 Seats” initiative is designed to not only increase the NDC’s parliamentary representation in the Central Region but also to strengthen the party’s chances of securing victory in the presidential election.
Former President John Dramani Mahama, who received the donation on behalf of the NDC, assured that the vehicles would be fully utilized to campaign for victory in the 2024 general elections.
