Pizza Man Chicken Man has opened a new branch at Emena near the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as part of its broader expansion strategy for 2026.
The commissioning of the new outlet was attended by the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Sika Food and Beverages Ghana Limited, Christian Boakye Yiadom, who spoke with GHOne TV Ashanti Regional Correspondent Isaac Justice Bediako about the company’s growth plans and product innovations.
Mr. Yiadom said the Emena branch forms part of a strategic expansion plan the company is rolling out this year.
“Pizza Man is known for growth. The opening of the Emena branch is just a part of the bigger plan that we have for the year 2026,” he said. “It is an ongoing strategic expansion and not just a standalone event. There are a couple of stores that will be added this year as well.”
He noted that the company is pursuing what he described as “responsible expansion,” focusing on maintaining quality and consistency across its outlets rather than opening branches rapidly.
According to him, the location near KNUST was deliberately chosen to better serve students and residents in the area. He added that the company already has systems that allow students to benefit from special offers, including the use of the Crispy App, which enables customers to accumulate points for future purchases.
Mr. Yiadom also revealed that the company recently introduced a new pizza product, known as Meatzza which he said has received strong patronage from customers.
“The acceptance of the new pizza (meatzza) on the market has been overwhelming,” he said, explaining that during a recent three-day promotional campaign, demand was so high that the company had to suspend some orders.
Touching on recent public reactions to one of the company’s food products, the Jollof Rice by Ishowspeed in his recent tour to Ghana, Pizza Man described it as a customer feedback as an important driver for improvement.
He acknowledged that while food preferences differ among individuals, feedback from customers helps the company refine its offerings and service delivery.
“As a Ghanaian, I understand the reactions people had. Taste is personal, and everyone has their preference. But feedback is a catalyst for growth,” he said.
He assured customers that the company remains committed to delivering quality meals, particularly its signature dishes, and encouraged patrons to continue sharing their experiences.
Mr. Yiadom added that while the company plans to open more outlets across the country, the focus will remain on sustainable growth that guarantees high standards across all branches.
