The High Court in Accra has adjourned the the motion for stay of proceedings filed by political activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor for Stay of Proceedings pending appeal to October 22.
Barker-Vormawor, who is a subject matter of prosecution for two counts of treason felony wants the court to stay its proceedings as he challenges the Court’s earlier decision at the Court of Appeal.
However, on Thursday, July 25, the Court presided over by Justice Mary Maame Ekue Yanzuh said she will adjourn the case to October in the new legal year for hearing especially also because of the absence of the jurors.
