The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has described Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, leader and founder of the Movement for Change, as a “non-entity” with no influence in the Ashanti Region to impact this year’s election.
“In Ashanti, I am the governor. I have houses and businesses here; that is my identity. Can the same be said about Alan?” Wontumi questioned.
“He left the NPP because he couldn’t stand against Dr. Bawumia. Now he wants to disrupt us, but he knows the NPP is a movement he cannot stand against in this election. We are not afraid of him because he will not make any impact.”
“Nana Kwame Bediako also claim he is from Ashanti region so the people should vote for him. What do he have in Ashanti region. What is his identity in the region. What investment has he made in the region in support of the masses” he questioned.
Wontumi further urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP and reject the NDC, Alan and Nana Kwame Bediako in the upcoming election.
