Charlotte Osei, a former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) has recounted circumstances that led to her removal from office describing it as ‘dramatic’ and ‘expectant’.
Charlotte Osei was appointed into office by former President John Mahama but later removed by President Akufo-Addo for unexplainable reasons in 2018.
Six years down the line, Madam Osei said, in an interview on Joy FM stated: “I knew the people I was dealing with, so I expected it. It was a whole drama from the petition till the end,”
It will be recalled that Charlotte Osei, along with her deputies, Amadu Sulley and Georgina Opoku Amankwaa, was removed from office following a committee’s recommendations after investigating allegations of corruption and misconduct.
The former EC boss hinted a book launch to effect.
