Renowned Ghanaian Musician Nana Yaw Yeboah Adjei populary known as Guru Nkz has stirred a national conversation by advising men to conduct Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing immediately after their wife gives birth.
He emphasizes the importance of confirming a child’s paternity, stating that uncertainty can lead to devastating consequences for families.

In an interview with Nhyira FM, Guru warns that waiting to verify parentage could result in emotional turmoil, as many have faced severe distress upon discovering that the child they raised is not biologically theirs.
He argues that understanding a child’s true lineage from the outset is crucial to prevent potential heartbreak and family breakdowns, stressing that this sensitive issue has driven some individuals to madness or worse outcomes.
“This issue can destroy homes; it’s better to know from the start that the child you’re caring for is or isn’t your biological son or daughter”
