The Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Abigail Elorm Akwambia Mensah, has convened the institution’s first management meeting of the year, outlining key priorities to guide operations in 2026.
The meeting on January 23, 2026, at its Accra head office brought together senior management and heads of department to review strategic objectives, align directorate work plans with MASLOC’s mandate, and assess operational and financial priorities, including a review of the Centre’s 2026 budget.
Discussions focused on prudent resource management, accountability, and ensuring that budgetary allocations directly support core programmes and service delivery.
Management also reviewed internal systems, workflow coordination, performance monitoring, and service delivery standards, with the aim of improving efficiency, consistency, and responsiveness across departments. Staff welfare and internal cohesion were identified as critical to institutional renewal and improved performance.
Madam Mensah, supported by her deputies, stressed the need for transparency, professionalism, and collective responsibility in advancing MASLOC’s mandate. She urged management to work collaboratively to implement agreed reforms, enforce fiscal discipline, and deliver measurable results.
The meeting ended with a commitment by management to disciplined execution, stronger teamwork, and sustained reforms to support staff, rebuild public trust, and enhance MASLOC’s service delivery in 2026.
