Launching the initiative at MTN’s Kaase Branch in the Asokwa Municipality of the Ashanti Region, MTN Northern District General Manager Nii Adotey Mingle outlined that the company will be deploying mobile vans to specific communities to train students in practical digital skills.

“We are sending mobile service vans to communities to teach the students how to use computers. Our staff will be coming along to train the children in Information and Communication Technology,” he pointed out.

“We will be working with our women in agribusiness especially in communities in the northern belt. They are very important to us because we know how their work can be greatly enhanced if they begin using digital technologies like the Mobile Money and its enablers to enhance their businesses,” he noted.
