A recent poll by Global Info Analytics, conducted via random phone calls from October 7-18, 2024, reveals that no respondents identifying as NDC voters expressed intentions not to participate in the upcoming elections.
In contrast, only 1.3% of NPP voters indicated they would abstain, alongside 7.6% of floating voters, 32.5% from other parties, and 7.4% who did not disclose their affiliations.
At a national level, NPP non-voters represent 17.7% of all voters, while floating voters account for 36.7%, other parties 32.9%, and undisclosed affiliations 12.7%.
The report also indicates that voter enthusiasm improves in the Ashanti Region, with a decline in its contribution to the “I will not vote” category at the national level. However, Central, Eastern, Greater Accra, Oti, Western, and Bono regions remain a significant concern.
- Breakdown:
- Greater Accra: 10.0%
- Central Region: 15.5%
- Eastern Region: 13.6%
- Oti Region: 9.5%
- Western Region: 9.1%

- Ashanti Region: 5.5%
The report also sheds light on voter apathy in various regions, highlighting that voter apathy could be a significant challenge in the 2024 elections, according to our telephone polls. The regions affected by voter apathy include:
