The NPP UK and YEF UK have begun fulfilling their pledge to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential campaign by delivering the first tranche of Nissan Navara pickup trucks worth $100,000.
This donation is part of a broader commitment made during a fundraising dinner in June 2024, where record donations and pledges were raised to support the campaign. Alongside vehicles, significant contributions in cash and materials, including T-shirts and other essential items, will be delivered before the election.
The vehicles were officially handed over by the NPP UK Chairman Mr Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong and received by the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua Frimpong, and the Director of External Affairs, Kwame Kyeretwie-Amponsah, who both expressed deep gratitude to NPP UK and YEF UK for their unwavering support.
NPP UK and YEF UK have a history of backing party campaigns, having raised substantial funds in previous elections. In 2020, they raised $450,000 for the NPP, following a successful $150,000 campaign in 2016. This year’s contributions underscore their continued commitment to Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana.
