The president of Citizen Eye Ghana,  Alex Kwaku Tetteh has endorsed the digitalization agenda of Dr. Bawumia during his recent visit to the United States of America.

In his recent press release, he touted Dr. Bawumia as a visionary who knows what to do to bring development to Ghana.

Explaining his decision to throw the weight of the organization and its over 29,000 members behind the Vice president, he said “…after reading the policy document for the NPP, NDC and the other aspirants, I must say that Dr. Bawumia has shown intellectual superiority in his submission.”

“I was a bit skeptical about the whole credit card system, but if you see what is going on in the USA, you will be amazed. Everything is cashless, and people can easily afford necessities with a good credit score”.

He was full of praises for the vice president and urged all the members of Citizen Eye Ghana across the country to vote for Dr. Bawumia.

He also spoke about the plans Dr. Bawumia has for agriculture, describing Dr. Bawumia’s proposed investment in Agriculture as novel and groundbreaking, stating that the vice president is taking cues from Hon. Ken Agyapong.

“When you look at the poultry farms in Ghana, you can see that that sector needs massive investment and improvement. Almost everybody consumes poultry, so investing in this sector will make poultry products affordable.”

He lamented on the current state of some prominent poultry farms in Ghana, and urged the government to provide financial support for farms like BunTaa Farms, the biggest poultry farm in West Africa owned by Professor Kwame Gyan Esq.

He touched on other policies such as Dr. Bawumia’s promise to invest in rice production to reduce the amount of rice we import.

Speaking on the issue of import duties, he was very happy about the proposed flat rate by Dr. Bawumia.

“As the protocol officer for Vehicle and Asset Dealers Association of Ghana (VADAG), I must say that my colleagues are happy about this policy, and we are willing to support Dr. Bawumia.”

He also spoke about the role of the media in ensuring peace in the upcoming election, stating that the media must ensure fair reportage ahead of the upcoming elections.

He urged media houses to use their platforms to educate citizens on the policy documents of all the parties, placing emphasis on page 19 of the NPP’s document and Page 136 of NDC’s policy document.

He however was bemused by the fact that there was no direct policy to aid the media in the execution of their duties.

On his last issue,  Alex Kwaku Tetteh urged all presidential aspirants to publish a list of their potential appointees, to help the people decide on who has the competent men ahead of the upcoming elections.

He hinted at an upcoming press conference to engage the media on the collective decision of the leadership of Citizen Eye Ghana to throw their weight behind Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
