The Ashanti Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has refuted claims that its Patron, Zumah Tebon Esq, is affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a statement signed by the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, Osman Abdullah Nabali, the group dismissed the allegations as false, baseless, and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.
The statement emphasized that Mr. Zumah Tebon Esq remains a staunch member of the NDC and a key Patron of its Youth Wing.
“Mr. Zumah Tebon Esq has made unprecedented contributions to the Ashanti Regional NDC Youth Wing, particularly during the last election,” the statement said.
Describing Mr. Tebon as an accomplished accountant, economist, and lawyer, the Youth Organizer highlighted his capacity to serve in any role assigned to him within the NDC.
The statement further called on the public to disregard what it termed “faceless and malicious kidology” aimed at tarnishing the Patron’s reputation.
The Ashanti Regional NDC Youth Wing reaffirmed its confidence in Zumah Tebon and pledged to continue working under his guidance to advance the party’s agenda in the region.
