The Asante Youth Association (AYA) has congratulated the Minister for the Interior, Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, for what it described as the successful and well-coordinated conduct of recent recruitment exercises under the Ministry of the Interior.

In a statement signed by Tweneboah Koduah, the association said it closely monitored the recruitment processes involving the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Prisons Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, noting that the exercise was carried out smoothly, transparently and in an orderly manner across the country so far.
According to AYA, no casualties were recorded during the recruitment exercise, a development the group said marked a significant improvement compared to similar exercises conducted in the past.
The association also praised what it described as unprecedented welfare considerations shown to applicants, particularly the provision of snacks throughout the exercise.
AYA said the gesture reflected thoughtful leadership, effective planning and respect for the dignity of young Ghanaians seeking to serve the nation.
AYA further commended the leadership of the various security agencies under the Interior Ministry, including the Inspector-General of Police, the Comptroller-General of Immigration, the Director-General of the Prisons Service and the Chief Fire Officer, for their professionalism and commitment to excellence.
The youth group said it was encouraged by the level of governance and management demonstrated during the recruitment process, describing it as leadership that puts people first and helps restore public confidence in state institutions.
The association also expressed pride in the Interior Minister, noting that he hails from the Ashanti Region, and urged him to continue what it described as his exemplary leadership style.
It described Hon. Muntaka as a listening leader who responds to the concerns of the people.
AYA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote fairness, accountability and youth empowerment, and congratulated the Minister and the Ministry of the Interior for what it termed a job well done.
