Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, a campaign aide to the NPP Running Mate, has described Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (popularly known as Napo) as the ideal partner for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in leading Ghana into a brighter future.
Speaking at a mini-rally in Begro, within the Fanteakwa North constituency of the Eastern Region, Dr. Kokofu praised the former Energy Minister, emphasizing that the duo forms the “perfect match” to guide the nation’s progress.
The event saw an outpouring of support from constituents, reflecting their deep satisfaction with the achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.
From Abuakwa South to Fanteakwa North, constituents have shown overwhelming enthusiasm, and Dr. Kokofu believes this will translate into a decisive vote for Dr. Bawumia, whom he described as “the man of the moment.” He further highlighted that Fanteakwa North stands firmly behind both Dr. Bawumia and their parliamentary candidate, Kwame Appiah Kodua.
Dr. Kokofu, who is a former Member of Parliament for Bantama and currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency, has been actively touring the Eastern Region, urging Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming December 7 elections.
At the rally, Kokofu commended Dr. Prempeh’s exceptional leadership and kindness, which he credits for the success of his work, particularly during his tenure as Minister of Education. He noted that it was no surprise when Napo was tasked with implementing the Free Senior High School policy, a flagship initiative of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.
When Dr. Prempeh took the stage, he highlighted the NPP’s strong track record in sectors such as education, energy, and health. He urged Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia, citing the party’s impressive achievements in transforming the country.
Kwame Appiah Kodua, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Fanteakwa North, also addressed the rally, pointing to numerous developmental projects the NPP government has undertaken in the area, further bolstering their case for re-election.
