The 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will lead the party’s national leadership on a nationwide post-election “Thank You Tour” starting Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
According to a statement issued by the party’s headquarters, the tour, approved by the National Council, aims to express gratitude to party supporters, grassroots members, and the general public for their unwavering support throughout the 2024 electoral season.
Anchored on the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the tour will feature interfaith thanksgiving services in all 16 regions, incorporating both Christian and Islamic prayers.
The nationwide engagement begins in the Western Region on April 26 and will conclude in the Central Region on June 4. The itinerary includes key regions such as Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Northern, with events scheduled in all six newly created regions as well.
National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye, who signed the release, called on all party faithful to actively participate in the regional and constituency events, emphasizing the need to honor the dedication and sacrifices that fueled the party’s journey.
