The Bank of Ghana has published the official interbank exchange rates for major foreign currencies, effective Monday, May 26, 2025.
The rates reflect the average values used by commercial banks for transactions as of the close of business on Friday, May 23, 2025.
According to the central bank, the Ghanaian cedi is trading against the US dollar at a buying rate of GH¢10.9445 and a selling rate of GH¢10.9555.
The British pound is being bought at GH¢14.7707 and sold at GH¢14.7866, while the euro is trading at a buying rate of GH¢12.4051 and a selling rate of GH¢12.4174.
These rates serve as benchmarks for foreign exchange transactions within the banking sector and are subject to fluctuations based on market dynamics.
The Bank of Ghana regularly updates these figures to ensure transparency and guide both commercial and individual currency exchanges.
