Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Teye-Cudjoe has been transferred to the Ashanti Region to assume the role of Regional Police Commander.
He takes over from DCOP Frank Abrokwa, the immediate past Regional Commander.
DCOP Frank Abrokwa was transferred by the police administration for poor management of security during the Ashanti Regional Council of State election, held at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) in Kumasi on Tuesday, February 11.

DCOP Teye-Cudjoe, a seasoned police officer with vast experience in law enforcement and crime prevention, is expected to enhance policing efforts in the Ashanti Region.
Ashanti regional minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene who made the official announcement of the new regional commander on his facebook page said
“Welcome the new Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Teye Cudjoe”.
The Ashanti Regional Minister stated that he looks forward to a strong collaboration in maintaining stability and fostering a secure environment for all within the Region and the country at large
