Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Damango, Samuel Abu Jinapor, says the decision by his party’s flagbearer to choose Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate has become a nightmare for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, the Bawumia-NAPO ticket will be a “solid” team to break as the party is keen on ‘breaking the 8′.
He revealed that NDC members have always expressed worry about Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s partnership with Dr Bawumia.
“NDC is afraid of NAPO, that’s why they are always attacking him. He is their nightmare, and his presence is giving the NDC members sleepless nights.
“When we meet, they always say that NAPO is a strong personality, and it will be hard for them. They know it that is why they are attacking him now,” he told NPP members in the rally in Damango constituency.
