A latest poll conducted in the Ashanti Region has revealed that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia (DMB), the New Patrotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the December 7 polls is leading the race with a significant margin, garnering 65% of the votes.

According to the poll results, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s John Dramani Mahama (JDM) trails behind Dr. Bawumia with 24% of the votes, while Alan Kyweramaten (AKK) of Movement for Change lags further behind with 9%.
