The Electoral Commission (EC) has reiterated its commitment to a flawless electoral process, prioritizing public trust and democratic values.
To bolster operational efficiency, the EC has recruited over 200 experts in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative fields.
In a media briefing on November 5, Dr. Eric Bossman Asare, the EC’s Deputy Chairperson, underscored the importance of transparency and accuracy in upcoming elections.
He emphasized the Commission’s proactive measures to mitigate errors that could undermine public confidence.
Dr. Asare noted that these new recruits will provide essential analytical support for data collation and vote tabulation.
“The Commission has already engaged over 280,000 individuals for this election,” he stated, highlighting the specialized backgrounds of those assisting at the constituency level.
