Cypriot club, AEL Limassol, has secured the services of Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Toku on a season-long loan deal from Belgian outfit OH Leuven.
The 24-year-old winger completed his move to Cyprus after passing his mandatory medical on Friday.
Toku has gained significant experience in recent years, having played for Fremad Amager in Denmark, where he made 39 appearances, and Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, where he featured in 70 matches. He then transferred to OH Leuven, where he played on loan with AaB Fodbold in Denmark.
During his loan spell with AaB Fodbold, Toku played a crucial role in the team’s promotion to the Danish Superligaen. He appeared in 20 games, scoring once across all competitions, and helped the team achieve their goal.
Despite his impressive performance, AaB Fodbold declined the option to sign Toku on a permanent basis, and he returned to OH Leuven.
The Belgian club has now allowed him to join AEL Limassol on a season-long loan deal.
