Former President John Dramani Mahama has once again stressed the importance of quality leadership over the length of time in office.
His comments is a direct jab of his main opponent, the vice president and presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia that he could be president for eight years and be more accountable to the people than the four year reign of John Mahama.
However, the NDC’s presidential candidate during an engagement with the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs as during his campaign tour of the area remarked that eight years mandate is not a guarantee indicating that, the four years he is seeking for would make more accountability and set a good legacy.
