The office of the Gborbu Wulomo has issued a formal summons to the family head of the late Ghanaian musician Charles Kojo Fosu over reports concerning the alleged burial of the artiste at his private residence in East Lego
In a letter dated March 10, 2026, Mr. Victor Kofi Owusu, also known as Abusuapanin Tupa identified as the family head of the late musician was directed to appear before the spiritual leadership of the GaDangme State at the palace in Nungua on March 13 at 11:30 a.m.
The summons was issued by Nii Numo Borketey Laweh Tsuru, who serves as the spiritual overlord of the GaDangme State.
According to the letter, the meeting is intended to address reports and public concerns surrounding the alleged burial of the late musician at his residence. Traditional authorities say the issue has generated significant sentiment among sections of the GaDangme people and has therefore been referred to the spiritual leadership for clarification and traditional review.
As the family head of the deceased, Mr. Owusu is expected to provide explanations on the matter and engage with the traditional authorities in line with customary protocols.
The letter also indicated that his cooperation is required to help address the concerns raised and to support efforts aimed at maintaining harmony, respect for tradition and a peaceful resolution.
The palace urged the family representative to treat the summons with urgency and appear before the traditional leadership on the stated date and time.
