Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has claimed that he is attempting to intercede for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2024 elections but faces spiritual opposition.
He said “I was still providing prophetic guidance for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, would often visit my church and my home, and I also visited his house. As a prophet of God, I must find the key to unlock the door. So i said let’s explore all directions – North, South, East, and West – and test every key to see which one will open the door, since the door is now shut and the key I previously knew won’t work”.
He emphasized that God has rejected the sitting President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stating “God said, ‘I have rejected Saw, so stop praying for him”, indicating a divine disconnect with the party.
Owusu Bempah recounted his recent journey to Swaziland to seek new spiritual keys, emphasizing that previous methods have failed.
“I decided to visit a country that practice the monarchical system of government, where once you’re installed on the throne, you hold the position for life. Let’s go there and bring back some of their keys and try it on the door and see whether it will unlock”.
He then added “My brother Nana Kwasi, my son Kofi, my friend Prince, and I traveled from Ghana to Swaziland. We retrieved keys, but I won’t uncode the purpose of the key. We gathered keys from all directions – north, east, south, and west – and brought them back to Ghana. Our goal was to find the key that would unlock the door, which was previously accessible with a key I knew”, he narrated.
He warned that local spirits are rejecting the NPP due to perceived evil deeds by its leaders.
“In some places we visit, the spirit of the land says, ‘The man in authority is committing evil deeds that we detest, so we want to punish him and strip him of his power.’ Therefore, as a man of God, distance yourself”.
He also shared his encounter with spirits in the water bodies stressing “There are places where spirits in the water said, man of God distance yourself they are hurting me and my Children”.
Rev Owusu Bempah comments come amid rising tensions regarding the election’s spiritual implications and political affiliations, particularly following his recent prophecy favoring NDC’s John Mahama.
