Hopeson Adorye, Director of Operations in charge of political activities for the Movement for Change, has launched the Anti-Agyapadie campaign T-shirt, which will be used to rally against the implementation of the controversial “Agyapadie” document.
The document is allegedly linked to certain influential individuals within the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and members of the Akyem Abuakwa state.
The “Agyapadie” document has stirred significant controversy, with President Nana Akufo-Addo denouncing it as a fabrication intended to damage his reputation for electoral gain.
The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, also condemned the book as fiction, meant to incite hatred against the Ofori Panin family and Okyeman.
However, Ambassador Daniel Ohene Agyekum, a former classmate of President Akufo-Addo, defended the document’s authenticity during a press conference, urging Ghanaians to take its contents seriously to prevent its implementation.
In response, Hopeson Adorye, a prominent member of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, has unveiled a two-colored T-shirt—yellow and black—with the front inscription reading “Say No to Agyapadie” and the back reading “Anti Agyapadie Crusader.”
In a viral video posted on social media, Adorye expressed his commitment to stopping the implementation of the Agyapadie document, stating, “We will not allow just one family to take control of the entire country’s properties for themselves and their unborn generations.”
Adorye also revealed that his sponsor had printed 1,000 copies of the T-shirt for free distribution, encouraging Ghanaians to join the Anti-Agyapadie crusade by voting against the NPP in the upcoming December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.
