The Hudai Foundation, a Ghanaian-based Turkish organization, has donated essential food items to the Ghana Prisons Service as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
The donation, which took place earlier today, included 160 bags of rice, 100 packs of cooking oil, 33 cartons of tomato paste, 8 bags of sugar, and 80 packs of spaghetti.

These provisions aim to improve the nutritional well-being of inmates, addressing a critical need for adequate dietary support within Ghana’s prison system.
The gesture was acknowledged by Interior Minister, Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak Muntaka, who was present at the event. He expressed his deep appreciation to the Hudai Foundation for their generosity and reaffirmed that the donated items would be used appropriately.

“The Hudai Foundation has demonstrated commendable social responsibility within Ghana, contributing significantly to various initiatives, including the construction of the Ghana National Mosque. This latest donation reflects their continued efforts to support the less privileged,” he stated.

The Interior Minister further used the occasion to appeal for more public support for the Ghana Prisons Service, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to enhance the welfare of inmates.
The Hudai Foundation has been actively involved in charitable and infrastructural projects in Ghana, reinforcing its commitment to community development and humanitarian support.
