The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has expressed his profound gratitude to the Vice President of Ghana and Presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his decision to choose the Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency, Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, as the head of the newly campaign group, B24.
Speaking at the official launch of the group in Kumasi on the Friday, 27th September, 2024, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling party extolled the achievements and enormous contributions of the Education Minister at the grassroots level of the party.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the Party, particularly when it comes to supporting the activities of the grassroots.
“Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the party. He has always supported the activities of the party at the grassroots level”, Chairman Wontumi said.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP therefore expressed his profound appreciation to the NPP Flagbearer for that decision to choose Dr. Adutwum as the head of the B24 Campaign group.
“I therefore thank the next President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for this wise decision to appoint Dr. Adutwum as the head of the B24 Campaign group. He really deserves it”, he added.
The country goes to the polls in three month’s time. The two leading parties are clearly leaving no stone unturned, and with the decision of the NPP Flagbearer to prioritize grassroots campaign, the ruling party has clearly demonstrated that they are not leaving any room for complacency.
