The flagbearer of the to (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed satisfaction and relief with the progress of his campaign as he addressed supporters in the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency of the Central region.
Dr Bawumia presented his “Bold Solutions” policies to the enthusiastic constituents, who turned out in large numbers to hear him speak.
He first paid a visit to the palace of Otumfour Amoah Sasraku II, the Paramount Chief of the Twifo Hemang Traditional Council.
In his message to the chief and his elders, Dr Bawumia reaffirmed his commitments to the “Better Ghana Agenda” and expressed solidarity with the traditional leaders.
Otumfour Amoah Sasraku II, pledged his people’s support for Dr Bawumia’s presidential aspiration, acknowledging the positive contributions of the NPP government to the region.
During the visit, Dr Bawumia also engaged various stakeholders, including religious leaders, assembly members, educators, farmers, and artisans.
He took time to explain his policies in detail and how they aim to uplift the living standards of Ghanaians.
His engagement with these key groups showcased his commitment to understanding the concerns of all citizens.
The tour continued in Jukwa, the capital of Denkyira, where a large crowd of NPP supporters and traditional leaders, including Nana Ama Saara Ayensua III, the Queen Mother of the Denkyira Traditional Council, warmly welcomed him.
Nana Ama Saara Ayensua III praised Dr Bawumia for his humility and dedication throughout his campaign and promised him the prayers and support of her people.
Addressing the massive gathering at Jukwa, Dr Bawumia shared his vision for a better Ghana, urging the people to support him and the NPP to achieve victory in the upcoming elections.
He emphasised the need for hard work and unity as the party looks ahead to the election.
He also praised the parliamentary candidate, Mr Lawrence Agyinsam, for his competence and urged the constituents to rally behind him.
The event was marked by a sense of optimism and excitement, with Dr Bawumia encouraging his supporters to remain steadfast in their pursuit of success for both the party and the country.
He was accompanied by notable dignitaries, including the Central Regional Minister, Mrs Marigold Assan, the parliamentary candidate; Lawrence Agyinsam, incumbent Member of Parliament, Lawyer Bright Wireko Brobby, District Chief Executive (DCE) Nana Kwaku Abban, and other regional and constituency executives.
