Former Ghana international Michael Essien has heaped praise on rising star Kamaldeen Sulemana, highlighting the winger’s exceptional talent and game-changing abilities.
Essien believes that Sulemana has the potential to single-handedly influence the outcome of matches, showcasing his skill and determination on the field.
Sulemana, who currently plays for Premier League side Southampton, has made a significant impact since his arrival in Europe. Known for his pace, dribbling skills, and ability to score crucial goals, he has quickly become a fan favorite and a key player for both his club and the Ghanaian national team.
Essien, a Chelsea legend, expressed his admiration during an interview with Joy Sports, stating, “Kamal(deen) was exceptional, he can win a game on his own. He could do everything, he got the speed, the dribbling, the skills and everything and he is strong. If you see him, you wont think he is strong but he’s got everything. If he can stay fit, which w all know is hard to control those things but I am keeping my fingers crossed that he can stay fit and the world can see Kamaldeen because he’s got everything to be at the top”
Meanwhile, Ajax efforts to sign Ghanaian Ghanaian international in the final hours of the summer transfer window collapsed.
Ajax manager Francesco Farioli has shed light on the tumultuous efforts to sign Ghanaian Sulemana in the summer transfer window.
Farioli described the experience as chaotic, saying, “I would have loved to switch off my phone before the deadline, but I couldn’t due to some important calls. We were dealing with financial constraints and lost two players while trying to bring in Kamaldeen [Sulemana]. It was chaotic and frustrating for everyone involved.”
He added, “We can cry about what happened, or we can find a way to move forward.”
