Businessman and politician Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has called on Ghanaian youth to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and develop strong leadership qualities to succeed in the competitive business world.
Speaking at the Skill Force Ghana program in Sunyani, Bono Region, under the theme “Entrepreneurial Mindset and Leadership for the Youth,” Agyapong emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, taking risks, and maintaining integrity in business.
He highlighted the essential qualities of a successful entrepreneur, including vision, strategic planning, and the ability to adapt to changing market trends.
According to him, individuals who wish to thrive in business must be willing to take calculated risks and remain committed to their goals despite challenges.
“If you have a fantastic idea but are afraid to invest in it, you will never be able to succeed. You must have the courage to take risks,” Agyapong stated.
He further stressed the role of integrity in business success, noting that honesty and sincerity are fundamental to building a strong reputation and lasting relationships.
The seasoned businessman also spoke about foresight in business, urging young entrepreneurs to anticipate future trends and adjust their strategies accordingly.
He pointed out that many businesses fail because they lack the vision to adapt to market changes.
“Businesses that do not evolve with time will eventually collapse. You must always think ahead and plan for the future,” he advised.
Agyapong’s address also touched on the importance of teamwork and leadership, encouraging young people to develop their leadership skills and inspire those around them.
The KEN Skill Force event brought together students and aspiring entrepreneurs from various tertiary institutions, aiming to equip them with the mindset and skills needed for business success.
Ken Agyapong’s speech served as a source of motivation for many attendees, reinforcing the idea that entrepreneurship and strong leadership are key drivers of economic growth and personal achievement.
