Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah I, the Kunsuhene, has donated medical equipment worth GHC 320,000 to the Kunsu Health Centre. The donation includes 15 modern beds, mattresses, 3 sets of 35 flat-screen TVs, drip stands, and other essential items.
The gesture follows a visit by his wife, Actress Oheneyere Dr. Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah, who identified the challenges facing the health facility during her treatment.
Nana Agyemang Badu Duah I expressed concern about the lack of equipment at the centre and emphasized the need for stakeholders to collaborate with the government on development, particularly in health and education.
The traditional ruler advised against mismanaging government properties and encouraged public workers to handle equipment with care, as if they were their own.
The Acting District Health Director, Michael Owusu Kwakye, urged staff to cultivate a maintenance culture to ensure sustainability.
The Ahafo Ano South West Constituency Parliamentary Candidate, Elvis Duah Dapaah (OKUMKOM), and the District Chief Executive, Joseph Frimpong Bonsu, expressed gratitude for the donation.
The DCE also announced that the government is working on the Agenda 111 project at Kunsu. This generous donation aims to enhance service delivery at the Kunsu Health Centre and improve healthcare in the Ahafo Ano South District.
