The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has pledged to transform the Dormaa Municipality in the Bono Region into Ghana’s hub for poultry production if he is elected president in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking during a Mini Durbar at Wamonafuo Ahyiayem in Dormaa East, the former president highlighted the area’s potential for poultry farming and expressed his commitment to providing the necessary resources and infrastructure to boost the local industry.
He stated that his government would offer support through better financing, access to modern equipment, and improved market opportunities for poultry farmers in Dormaa.
