Article: Bawumia’s bold vision for sustainable and responsible mining in Ghana

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has positioned himself as the leader to steer Ghana toward a prosperous future, contrasting his vision with what he describes as the outdated approach of former President John Dramani Mahama.

Addressing supporters at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) final rally ahead of the December 7 elections, Dr. Bawumia underscored the importance of forward-thinking leadership and the continuation of the NPP’s transformative policies.

“This election is a clear choice between the future and the past. My opponent represents the past and I, Dr Bawumia, represent the future of this country,” he stated.

“So, the choice that we have on Saturday, as we go to vote, is whether we want to go forward into the future or backwards into the past.  A mindset of possibilities underpins us in the NPP and the work that we have done.

“We believe that it is possible to transform this country into an advanced nation,” he stated.
