The Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, is set to embark on a four-day campaign tour of the Volta Region from August 13 to 16, 2024.
In a statement from the Volta Region Secretartiat of NDC, the visit is part of Mahama’s commitment to engage directly with Ghanaians and outline his transformative vision to rebuild the country ahead of the December 7th General Elections.
The statement said during the tour, former President Mahama will visit all 18 constituencies in the region, interacting with grassroots supporters through door-to-door engagements, market conversations, and community mobilizations.
He will also hold rallies to connect with the people and share his vision.
“This hands-on approach reflects President Mahama’s deep understanding of the challenges faced by ordinary Ghanaians and his commitment to “reset Ghana” and bring it back on the path of decency and economic development. The tour will provide an opportunity for Ghanaians to gain insights into his game-changing policies, including the ’24-hour economic policy’ and the ‘GHC10 billion Big Push’ infrastructural development agenda,” the statement noted.
