The Ankobeahene of Boadua in Akwatia constituency Barfuor Annor has predicted that John Dramani Mahama’s comeback will be similar to President Donald Trump of the US.
According to him, President Mahama will win with wide margin however cautioned the NDC not to be complicent but work hard to secure the victory .
“The recent American election situation is similar to that of Mahama .Before the American election they said it was too close too tell but at the end of the election it was 226 against 312 a very wide margin all due to hard work.So today if we are praying that Mahama comes to power we beg you the leaders of his campaign to work hard to bring Mahama back to power”.
The Ankobeahene called on residents of Boadua to support and vote for John Mahama to return to power to continue the numerous developmental initiatives and policies he commenced before losing power in 2016.
“The reason why I like the Man [ Mahama ] is his resilience ,courage and perseverance.That is he never gets discouraged .He would have been cooling off after losing elections but for the sake of his love for Ghana he is seeking reelection.i urge the people of Bodua to support and vote for Mahama”.
The Chief said this during a campaign rally addressed by Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress ,NDC, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah who is on a five day tour of the Eastern Region.
NDC Director of Election, Dr. Omane Boamah told the gathering that, John Dramani Mahama is winning December 7 election to implement policies such as 24-hour economy ,youth in apprenticeship program ,stress free admission into tertiary institutions and ultimately reset the country to enhance economic growth and prosperity for all.
He criticized Akufo Addo and Bawumia led government for for neglecting roads in the area leaving it to deteriorate.
The Member of Parliament for Akwatia Henry Boakye Yiadom accounted for his stewardship in area of health, education, employment, youth employment and community development to call for his reelection.
