Majority women caucus threaten legal action against NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon over insinuation incumbent MP had a hand in the death of the late MP Kyeremateng Agyarko

The majority of women’s caucus of parliament is threatening legal action against NDC PC for Ayawaso West Wuogon John Dumelo. Mr. Dumelo during a media engagement in the constituency insinuated incumbent MP Lydia Seyram Alhassan had a hand in the death of the late MP and father to her children Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko. The actor has since apologised for his comments.

But addressing the media, deputy majority leader Patricia Appiah-Agyei slammed John Dumelo over the development. According to the Asokwa MP, such attacks on women serve as disincentive for public service.

According to her though the apology is accepted, it’s not enough
