Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a stern warning to military officers involved in what he described as ‘unlawful national security house raids” .
In an interview with Movement TV, monitored by kumasimail.com, Abronye DC cautioned that any military officer who participates in such raids under orders from above should be prepared to face severe consequences if the political power changes.
Abronye DC emphasized that meticulous records, including videos and photos, are being kept of these incidents.
He said “If you are a military officer, take it from me that any person who claims to have orders from above and tells you to raid someone’s house, and you follow, we are keeping all those pictures and videos”
“Any military officer who follows people to raid other houses and steals people’s wives’ pants and their gold, we know you all”.
He sternly advised implicated officers to resign immediately if power changes hands, or else they will face dismissal and prosecution for theft.
He emphasized “All the military officers who are being used to raid people’s houses and steal, we have kept the videos. The day you hear that power has changed, resign.
Abronye added “If you fail to resign, we will sack you, take you to court, charge you with stealing, and jail you. They should take this warning from me”.
