Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, a prominent Ghanaian cleric, has disclosed that his previous marriages failed due to his ex-wives’ deep-seated fear of his alleged spiritual powers they continuously experienced in their matrimonial home.
According to Rev. Owusu Bempah, his former spouses were uncomfortable around him, particularly when he was under the influence of the spirit.
He claimed that during these episodes, the spirit would divert its attention to his wives, causing them distress.
“My presence in the room makes them uneasy, particularly my second wife. When the spirit takes hold of me and can’t fully possess me, it shifts its attention to her, and similarly affects my third wife”, he told the congregation.
The reverend further stated that if he were to remarry, he would maintain a separate bedroom to prevent any potential harm to his future partner.
“Even if I marry again, I won’t share the same bedroom with my future wife, because if caution is not exercised, I might suddenly disappear”.
Rev. Owusu Bempah, however, noted that he is a very dangerous person, although his wives always portray him positively in the eyes of their friends.
“They are afraid, but they don’t tell anyone, not even friends. My wives always tell their friends I’m a good person, but I’m dangerous. I mean, don’t try me. I can even vanish without your knowledge”.
