Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, has called on Ghanaians to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections to secure a better future for the country.
Speaking at a campaign rally in the Asante Akyem North Constituency on Wednesday, NAPO emphasized the importance of continuity and warned against a return to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, citing the previous tenure of former President John Dramani Mahama as a cautionary example.
Describing the NDC’s past governance as detrimental, NAPO urged the electorate to reject the opposition party once again, stressing that the NPP remains the only party capable of delivering progress and stability for Ghana.
He expressed strong confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and vision, highlighting their collective commitment to building a prosperous nation.
The rally, which drew a large and enthusiastic crowd, is part of the NPP’s broader campaign efforts as they seek to galvanize support ahead of the 2024 elections.
The audience responded positively to NAPO’s message, showing their support with cheers and chants for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
The event also underscores the party’s strategy to focus on key constituencies and engage with voters directly as the election date approaches.
