Business mogul and politician, Kennedy Agyapong, has urged students to develop a strong vision for their future, emphasizing that entrepreneurship is not an inborn trait but a result of strategic planning and hard work.
Addressing a workshop organized by Skill Force Ghana in Sunyani, the NPP presidential candidate hopeful stressed the importance of goal-setting, proper planning, and executing well-thought-out activities to achieve success.
He introduced the concept of GOSPA, which stands for Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Planning, and Activities, as a guiding principle for aspiring entrepreneurs.
“No one is born an entrepreneur. It’s all about your vision in life. Success in business comes from setting clear goals, defining objectives, developing better strategies, planning ahead, and ensuring every activity aligns with your purpose,” he stated.
The workshop, attended by students from various universities, young entrepreneurs, and industry professionals, focused on building skills for self-employment and financial independence.
The former Assin Central member of Parliament shared insights from his personal business journey, urging the youth to be disciplined, hardworking, and innovative in their pursuits.
“I come from a poor background, but I never allowed that to stop me from dreaming big. I went to a village school, but that didn’t deter me from working hard to achieve my goals. Success comes from discipline, persistence, and a clear vision,”
The event was part of Skill Force Ghana’s mission to empower the next generation with practical knowledge and tools for economic empowerment.
Skill Force Ghana has been at the forefront of entrepreneurship development in Ghana, organizing training programs and mentorship sessions to equip the youth with relevant skills for the evolving job market.
